Meet Dr. Bo
Born and raised in Barwick, Georgia, I grew up in the Baptist church—surrounded by the deep spiritual traditions of the South. As a child, I lived what many now recognize as Hoodoo, though back then, I didn’t have a name for it. Working with roots wasn’t something I learned from books—it was simply a way of life. For a time, I didn't step into the depths of my calling. But the calling never left me. It was in me from the beginning.

My greatest influences have always been close to home. My aunt, in particular, shaped the foundation of my practice, passing down knowledge rooted in family, land, and spirit. Her teachings, along with our ancestral traditions, continue to guide my path today.

Becoming “Hoodoo Doc” wasn’t a title I claimed lightly—it’s a responsibility, a calling, and a sacred relationship with the spirits I serve. One of the most profound connections I’ve built is with High John the Conqueror. From the first time I felt his pull, I knew there was work to be done between us. Over time, through respect and devotion, we grew close—and we've been locked in ever since.

I don’t just practice Hoodoo—I live it. My mission is to continue the legacy of my people, to walk in truth, and to offer spiritual work that heals, protects, and empowers. This is more than a tradition. It’s who I am.
